Career Networking Event
Thursday 16 October 2025 7pm - 9pm
We are delighted to host an exciting range of guest speakers from our alumnae and parent community and local businesses at our Career Networking: STEM, finance, law and medicine evening.
The evening will consist of five breakout rooms: Engineering, Business, Finance, Law and Medicine. Each breakout room will have a panel of four to six speakers who will share their career story and answer your questions.
Speakers confirmed this year include a GP, optometrist, hospital doctors, Formula 1 aerodynamicist, barristers, solicitors, engineers, accountants, CEOs, risk managers, head of sustainability, directors, partners and entrepreneurs.
We will contact you nearer the event to select which two breakout rooms which you would like to attend.
The evening is preceded by the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) lecture at Tormead 5.15pm - 6.30pm. Delivered by Prof. Kevin Wells from the University of Surrey, the topic of the lecture is "Vets, Pets and Artificial Intelligence: How is AI used to help your dog lead a happy healthy life.” Tickets for this event need to be booked separately and can be found here. Refreshments will be available between both events.
